China has done it again. And again. Again x5. The world’s largest rock band, highest bridge, tallest wooden pagoda, largest radio telescope, and the longest desert highway are all titles captured by the PRC (People Republic of China) just THIS MONTH!
World’s Largest Rock Band-

935 musicians played a show together in Tianjin to form the largest playing band ever in the history!
The World’s Highest Bridge-

The Beipanjiang River Railway Bridge, near Liupanshui in Guizhou province, China, is an arch with a maximum deck height of 275 m (902 ft). It was inaugurated in 2001. source- Guinness world record.
The world’s Largest Radio Telescope-

China has been building this large radio telescope for past 5 years and finally finished this year. This telescope will help the world find life out in space. In a test run before the launch, FAST detected electromagnetic waves emitted by a pulsar more than 1,300 light-years away.
The world’s Newest and Longest Desert Highway-

Going mostly through Inner Mongolia this dessert highway is 2,582-kilometer-long project. This desert highway is a major part of the Beijing-Urumqi Highway.
The World’s Tallest Wooden Pagoda-
The world’s tallest wooden pagoda, Shanxi province.
A nearly 1,000-year-old wooden pagoda in Yingxian County, North China’s Shanxi Province, has been declared the world’s tallest wooden pagoda by Guinness World Records. The striking piece of architecture was built back in 1056 and has a remarkable height of 67.31 metres (220 ft 10 in).
China just doesn’t stop impressing us from each and every new record!
