High Speed Train

High speed trains, commonly called bullet trains, run from two stations in Shanghai. Shanghai Railway has a more central location at the intersection of metro lines 1, 3, and 4. More bullet train departures and arrivals operate out of Hongqiao Railway Station, located farther west towards the end of metro lines 2 and 10.

Over 50 regular trains operate daily out of Shanghai Railway Station and Shanghai South Railway Station, located at the intersection on metro lines 1 and 3.
