The morning starts with a dive into Shanghai's unique park culture and street life, a visit to the Bird and Flower Market and into the communist past with the Propaganda Museum.
In the afternoon you'll head to Qibao Ancient Town to enjoy lunch and soak in the 1000 years of history. Qibao Ancient Town is a spiritually sanctuary place built during the Song Dynasty. Qibao meaning "seven treasures" in Chinese is named for a legend that there were seven treasure around that area; Gold Lotus Scripture, Magic Tree, Big Bell, Buddha, Gold Cock, Jade Chopsticks, and Jade Axe. Qibao is also famous by its diversity of food on Qibao Old Street, which made it very well known and even featured on CCTV's "A Bite of China".
